Last month, the Good Food Bucks team attended the Nutrition Incentive Hub 2025 National Convening in Minneapolis! This event brought together GusNIP grant recipients from all over the county who run nutrition incentive programs just like Good Food Bucks in their own home states. This was an extremely fun and educational event that allowed us to be in community with our peers, share knowledge, and celebrate the success of our work to make local food more accessible and affordable.

We attended many interesting panels and presentations at the convening that were hosted by other nutrition incentive practitioners. The topics spanned from technology for incentives, supporting retailer partnerships, elevating the voices of community members, and much more! We look forward to improving the Good Food Bucks program using what we learned from the conference.

Additionally, we were able to participate in a tour of The Food Group’s mobile market and warehouse facility! The Food Group is a Minneapolis based organization whose mission is to mitigate hunger and promote food equity in their community. The organization administers a food bank, a mobile market program for Minneapolis and St. Paul (check out their amazing bus mobile market in the photo!), and a nutrition incentive program for the state of Minnesota at farmers markets, Market Bucks! Check out their website here to learn more: (https://www.thefoodgroupmn.org/about/mission/).

Thank you to the Nutrition Incentive Hub for having us at this event!
