Double Up your Fall Veggies with Good Food Bucks!

Get more this fall by doubling up on the beautiful fall produce available at our farm and market partners. Getting seasonal produce is one of the benefits and exciting things about shopping at the farm or market. You can enjoy produce grown right here in NJ, at its healthiest and ripest point. Stock up on fall fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, onions, squashes, pumpkins and beets. With Good Food Bucks you can get either 50% off or a dollar for dollar match in coupons when you shop with SNAP! This means more fall produce for less! To understand more about what produce is in season and when, check out this seasonality chart!

Many of our farm partners' fall harvest days have begun. Alstede Farms, Stony Hill Farms, Norz Hill Farm are a few of the farm partners who have fall events. You can enjoy corn mazes, pick your own apples, farm tours and more when you spend the day at one of these farms! Fall harvest days can be a great opportunity to get your family outside and have fun! All of these farm partners take SNAP so not only can you buy SNAP eligible items, if you buy produce you will get the Good Food Bucks discount.

Another way to maximize your SNAP dollars this fall and spend some time outside is use SNAP to pay for apples picked at Riamede Farms U Pick. For the apples you pick you can pay with SNAP and get a 50% discount on your purchase.

For more information about hours, events and pricing please check out their websites

Even though U Pick’s are such a fun fall activity it can be hard to go through all those apples if you pick a lot. Here is a recipe for an apple tart that is quick and easy to make with the apples you picked or purchased at one of our farm partners.

Enjoy the fall season by spending time outside, doing fun fall activities, and going to your local market. With Good Food Bucks you can get twice the amount of fresh produce when you shop with SNAP at participating locations! Check out our website to find a location near you!
