Embrace the Season at Your Local Winter Market!

The summer and fall farmers market seasons may be in our rearview mirror, but the winter market season is just getting started! There are lots of great markets around the state offering locally grown fruits, vegetables, and other goodies throughout the colder months. While it may not be overflowing like the summer markets, there’s still plenty to discover! Winter markets are perfect for stocking up on hearty root vegetables, fresh dairy, eggs, cheeses, and more. Many markets also feature items like candles, soaps, jewelry, prepared foods and other unique finds. Lots of the markets also have warm drinks to help heat you up!

By shopping at these markets, you’re not just getting fresh, local products—you’re also supporting farmers and small businesses, which helps keep money within our communities. It’s a win-win-win! Check out the list of markets open from January through April. Be sure to bundle up, grab some friends and enjoy winter shopping!
