What can I buy with SNAP at the farmers market?

Farmers Markets have a wide variety of items. From fresh fruits and vegetables to candles, local crafts, bread, eggs, and pickles. When you use SNAP at the farmers market you can purchase SNAP eligible food items. This includes breads and grains, dairy products, jam, eggs, fresh produce, honey, fruit and vegetables seedlings, seeds, and meat, fish, and poultry. Many farmers markets in New Jersey double SNAP with Good Food Bucks, so if you spend 10 dollars you receive 10 extra dollars to spend on fresh produce!
