Join the City Green and C.R.O.P.S teams for a discussion on the ins and outs of accepting SNAP at your farm and/or farmers markets! Attendees will learn:


- How to become authorized to accept SNAP through the USDA application process

- Options for obtaining SNAP/EBT card-reader equipment in NJ

- Best practices and regulations for running a SNAP program

- Outreach tips and strategies for welcoming more people who use SNAP to your market


This is a free virtual event for New Jersey-based farmers and farmers markets who want to increase their customer base and make their markets a more inclusive, welcoming, and equitable space by accepting SNAP as a payment type.
